COMPETITION PROCESS
- After you apply and are accepted for your pageant, you will receive the registration materials including total Pageant participation fees to officially register to enter the pageant.
- During the pageant, you will participate in the categories of evening gown, interview and talent round.
- If you take home the crown you have a year full of philanthropic and professional opportunities
COMPETITION RULES
To emerge victorious in this competition, participants must exude confidence and possess a deep understanding of our brand values and the responsibilities associated with the title. Winners should effectively communicate their ambitions while demonstrating authenticity, credibility, and poise under pressure.
Each competition commences with preliminary interviews, featuring segments such as swimsuit or athletic wear and an evening gown presentation show. These preliminary events hold significant importance, serving as the initial opportunity for judges and fans to truly familiarise themselves with the delegates. The preliminary competition plays a pivotal role in determining the Semifinalists.
The live show and final competition kick off with the announcement of the Semifinalists. These delegates will grace the runway, showcasing their commitment to a healthy lifestyle. The semifinalists then progress to the next stage during the evening gown segment, where judges and fans witness their personal style. It’s important to note that the specific design of the gown does not contribute to the total score; instead, judges focus on the confident presentation of each contestant.
Based on the scores from the evening gown competition, the Top 10 competitors are selected, advancing them to the Final Question round. In this round, each woman randomly selects a judge who poses a question covering various social, cultural, and political topics. The Final Question round assesses contestants’ ability to articulate themselves under pressure, eliciting thoughtful and well-informed responses. The scores are averaged, and the Top 3 contestants progress to the Final Look.
The event concludes with the host announcing the overall winner. In the event that the winner is unable to fulfill her duties, the first-runner up will step in to assume the responsibilities.
COMPETITION FAQs
HOW CAN I ENTER GLAM COSMO BEAUTY PAGEANT COMPETITION?
To become a participant in the GLAM COSMO Beauty Pageant, interested individuals must submit their applications through either the official local representative in their country or by utilising the application form provided above. Please note that registration fee is non refundable. If in any case pageant decides to withdraw from the competition they should give us a notice of 30 days prior to the event date. Any withdrawal that is less than 30 days from the event date, no refunds will be made. This included the registration fee and the total pageant participation fee.
ARE THERE AGE REQUIREMENTS?
Yes. Glam Cosmo Beauty Pageant delegates must be at least 18 years of age on the date the beauty pageant competition commenced.
CAN I COMPETE MORE THAN ONCE?
Delegates may compete in their state or country pageants more than once, but may only compete at Glam Cosmo Beauty Pageant once a year.
WHAT ARE MY RESPONSIBILITIES?
A delegate should understand the values of Glam Cosmo organisation and the responsibilities of the title. The pageant should be able to express what their personal and professional goals would be during their reign.
During her reign, Miss/Ms/Mrs Glam Cosmo Beauty Pageant shall not become a contestant or participate in any other beauty or talent pageant/contest for a duration of 1 year and 10 months unless it is approved by our organisation.
The Contestant shall not, without prior written approval of Glam Cosmo Pvt. Ltd, speak to the press or any other media nor give any interviews or comments relating to the Pageant. This is confidentiality and an important clause, failure to comply with the clause the participant will be liable for legal actions.
Miss/Ms/Mrs Glam Cosmo Beauty Pageant winner or title holders or contestants, agrees to make appearances throughout her reign as approved by the Pageant and Glam Cosmo. Appearances may include but are not limited to parades; radio, television, and newspaper interviews; and public appearances at events.
a Miss/Ms/Mrs Glam Cosmo Beauty Pageant 2024 contestant fails or refuses to comply with the terms and conditions of this Agreement, the pageant directors may, at their discretion, require her immediate resignation, with or without cause. Upon resignation, she must immediately forfeit and return all awards, prizes, gifts, etc., that she has received or would otherwise be entitled to. In the event of her resignation or removal, the pageant committee may select a successor, who will then be entitled to receive such prizes, awards, etc.
The Contestant may voluntarily relinquish her title and subtitles at any time, provided written notice is given to Glam Cosmo. Upon relinquishment, the Contestant agrees to return all prizes, awards, and benefits received during her tenure as a titleholder in the beauty pageant.
The Contestant waives any and all compensation for the use of her name, likeness, voice, and biographical information for publicity and promotional purposes.
The Contestant agrees that if she is awarded the title of Brand Ambassador, she will not represent or endorse any other beauty pageants, fashion brands, or related organisations for a period of 1 year and 6 months from the date of winning, without prior written consent from Glam Cosmo
WHAT CAN I DO TO BEST PREPARE FOR GLAM COSMO PAGEANTS
Consider the below when competing at the glam Cosmo Beauty Pageant:
- Describe what your aspirations are and why you are competing for a title.
- What have you done in your community to show leadership?
- How would you use your title to impact society?
- What social group would be your focus and why?
- How would you help solve issues within the community, world, not just in your home country?
- How can you make this world a better place if you were crowned?
- What does ambition mean to you? How do you encourage ambition in others?
HOW ARE THE GLAM COSMO HOST SITES CHOSEN?
The host sites for the competitions are selected based on a number of factors including city infrastructure and capabilities of the venue for production.
HOW MANY DELEGATES COMPETE IN GLAM COSMO PAGEANTS?
Between 10 and 20 countries send a delegate to compete annually.
TERMS OF WITHDRAWAL
In the event that a contestant decides to withdraw from the competition, the following terms and conditions will apply:
Notice Period: Contestants must provide a written notice of withdrawal at least 30 days prior to the event date. This notice must be submitted in writing via email or a written letter to the pageant organisers.
Refund Policy:
If a contestant provides the required 30-day notice of withdrawal, they will be eligible for a full refund of any fees paid, including the registration fee and the total pageant participation fee.
If a contestant withdraws less than 30 days before the event date, no refunds will be issued. This includes the registration fee and the total pageant participation fee.
Method of Notification: The notice of withdrawal must include the contestant's full name, registration number, and reason for withdrawal. It must be sent to the official email address of the pageant organisers or delivered to their physical office.
Confirmation of Withdrawal: Upon receipt of the notice of withdrawal, the pageant organisers will confirm the withdrawal in writing within 10 working days. If the contestant does not receive a confirmation, it is their responsibility to follow up to ensure their withdrawal notice has been received.
Non-Refundable Circumstances: No refunds will be issued for any reason if the notice of withdrawal is received less than 30 days before the event date. This policy is strictly enforced to ensure the smooth operation and planning of the event.
By participating in the pageant, all contestants agree to abide by these terms and conditions regarding withdrawal from the competition.
